Question about bud

Is it normal for bud to not have much of a odor ? I just bought some for the first time in ages and I always enjoy inspecting. This looks very much like it is outdoor quite sticky with some orange hairs but just no real smell. Is that strange ? Thanks. Responses are appreciated :)

bud should always have a pleasurable scent
although i have had some really dank bud that smelt like nothing

Well it definetly has a smell but its just more of a plant matter type of smell then what I am generally used to. Would that be the different between indoor and outdoor ?

Well I've had stuff that practically let off no odour, to stuff that reeks from hell.

All depends really, blazing a bit is the only thing that can gauge the quality.

i had some herb that looked so bad you would kick me out the circle by looking at it but good god damn you could get 3 people fried on a single joint.

ok here is all you can possibly tell about the dried bud. if it smells good, cool, id rather have dank smelling bud then low smell bud but even dank dosn't always have a smell. there is no difference between indoor and outdoor bud. if it's crystally it's better quality, and if it makes your fingers feel waxy when you break it up that's a good thing. the stickier the better.

Smelly pot means nothing. I have stuff right now that smells like nothing and is amazing weed, so no, just because there is no smell doesn't mean it's good, and just because it does smell doesn't mean it's good.

Yeah, I've gotten awesome dank with no smell and shitty shwagg that smelled like awesome dank.

The quad I've been smoking for the past week has a very weak, though nice taste. It's fucking incredible. I wouldn't say that smell is a very good determination of potency.

My weed always have a smell. If it doesnt hit me in the face when I open my altoids can then I'll smell it when I break it down. If I dont smell it when either of those things happen but it'd get me high I'd say it's strange but nothing to worry about :p.

Actually the trichomes dont really mean anything. Crystalls look nice, and store the THC, but it could be storing 20% THC or 1% THC.

Although generally the stuff with lots of trichomes is stronger [But remember, not always.]

depends on where the ud has been if someone who had it put it near something to mask the smell like dryer sheets or something it could lost its smell ive had it happen i wouldent worry about it not being good bud or anything by the description it probably is decent regardless if it smells dank or not
