Storing (very) stinky weed

I got some awesome bud yesterday, but I'm having a problem. I have it rapped up tight in several bags. I stuck that in a sock and wrapped it up in more bags. I then wrapped it up tight in a pair of pants. The end result was a ball about the size of a basketball. All of this and it's still stinking up my whole dorm floor. It's a sour-skunky-sweet smell that is easily identifiable. I'm at a loss as to what to do to cover the smell. Any suggestions?

wrap it up in a few bags, then put it in a sandwich bag filled with baking soda. wrap that bag up and you should be good

Put it in airtight things such as a jar or surround it with a stronger smell.

mason jar dude. keeps it airtight with no smell and preserves weed longer in my opinion.

mason jars are the best way to store nugs. a couple of my friends use those containers you'd put like flour or sugar in with a metal thing that you have to clip down. or head to goodwill and find some kind of container there. but glass will hold in the smell and keep your herb fresh.

Smoke it all. no but seriously thats probally the best way to get rid of the smell if you dont want to do that get some mason jars :D

I don't know man. I've have had some pretty skanky skunk weed before that the smell was barely contained inside of an airtight mason jar. I used to get skunk that would reek up an entire house just sitting in the bag. :p

Just wrap it in a baggy and put inside of a mason jar with a seal. That will contain it, or anything airtight plastic container would work fine as well.

if you understand why smell leaks from a container, you can use that to your advantage

smell leaks because the scent particles pass through tiny openings in the container it is in, as the pertivles move form areas of high concentration to areas of low concentration.
so, to eliminate smell, all you would have to do is have a container of the right material and right thickness so that there is absolutely no openings. i would use a glass jar with a metal clip and rubber on the lid, for an airtight seal.

yeah i had the same problem, i just put it a bag, sealed it tight, put that in a bag, and used a large amount of cling wrap...cling wrap will work wonders and isnt bigand bulky like mason jars..also, use rubber bands to hold it tight

put dryer sheets in the plastic baggies surrounding the weed. I have heard it will just smell like dryer sheets instead of weed. Only problem is it seems to take all of the smell away from the weed. Your weed will smell like dryer sheets even when you take it out to smoke.

I had that same problem today. Not as bad. But i bought a dime today (in school. I only had to hold it for 2 periods.) And it was really stinking through the bag. So i put it in this one pocket on the side of my backpack...and when I was in class...everytime I would take something out of my backpack..or put something in...or move the backpack...it would smell like weed for a few seconds. I seriously thought I was gonna get busted. But either no one smelled it...or they don't know the smell.

It smelled fruity/skunky when I bought it, but since I wrapped it up and stuck it in a dark place its started smelling a lot stronger. I ended up getting a tupperware container. It's better than before, but the smell is still getting out.

I just bought an eighth for $70. It was the most I've ever spent on an eighth, but it was well worth it. The bud had a purple tint and was light as hell, covered in crystals and hairs. Some friends and I smoked a bowl and were all tripping out and seeing shit in the shadows. It normally takes us a lot to get high since we are never sober and only smoke amazing dank (usually named strains). My dealer routinely gets clones of really good shit, so it might be real purple like he claims. He taxed an extra $10 on it, but it was worth it IMO.

All I have is a shitty phone camera, but I'll try to get a picture up. I accidentally fell asleep with the bag in my pocket, so the perfectly round nugs are a little flat, but some of the bigger ones are still alright.

bag it up a couple times and throw it in a mason jar it should hold the smell good it worked for me anyways i had sum stuff that just having a gram of it in my house was making it reek and a jar worked for me besides for puttin the other halff oz outside loll

I have about 7 jars that I got from my old science teacher. They are meant to store chemicals, mixtures, and all that other good shit so absolutely no smell gets out. They were brand new so no chemicals in them. They range from about 2" round x 4" tall to about 1/4" round x 1" tall. Perfect little things. As long as theres no smell on the outside(wash it off REALLY good) I can get past drug dogs like nothing. I use gloves when im gonna have to get past dogs though.

put it in a reasonbly air tight container and put in the bottom of your fridge :) the container is just to keep it from drying out
