Marijuana Tax Stamp Laws??

I was just recently on the norml website and ran into the Marijuana Tax Stamp. Anybody ever hear of this?? :stoned:

Texas has a Marijuana Tax stamp. You must have a tax stamp affixed to all MJ in your possesion. Not surprising is that few people get these stamps, mainly out of fear of self-incrimination.

As I understand it, the stamps exist only as a backup method of persecution, er I mean prosecution, should you evade the normal charges. If possesion doesn't get you, tax evasion will.
