Not knowing any people of your own from OKC sucks...when you must rely on others that do know people...prices go out of wack..anyone else have the same problems?

Constantly... If you didn't grow up here, you won't get the good deals, or sometimes you won't get any deals at all, not even shitty deals.

You have to go make friends. Local pool halls and large bars always have a resident dealer . A small neighborhood bar might be tough to crack since people tend to keep to their own kind more in those places. Just start hanging out and drinking some beer and making friends. Don't go looking for bud but for a good time and the bud will come.

Also Waiters and Bartenders can be a big help. The service industry has alot of Mexican connections from the staff that have great hookups. One fat tip can sometimes get you pointed in the right direction. But not always.
