yeah, i doubt thats more than 2 grams. that was in a small bag, and that coin didnt look like its much bigger than a US nickle. the best way to measure out grams, is bowl packs. my bubbler can pack roughly about .7 if i pack it fat. but, usually id say i smoke about .25 to 1/3 a gram per bowl. depending on density, quality, etc. a normal bowl is prob about 1/4 a gram, just if i had to scale it. but each varies. but just think of it this way. if it looks like you can get about 3-5 bowls out of the bag, it's probably a gram or so.

It feels well dense, harder than normal buds i get , and it has like this small coating of green powder stuff on it.

I don't have access to scales, maybe I should buy one, can anyone suggest where I can get one in the UK (preferably cheap).

Okay, to end this judging by a picture bullshit, here are a few pics I've included of some stash I'm currently puffing on.

Those 2 buds were no bigger than BIC lighter, and 1 smaller bud, and it wiehged to 7.1g's. They are mega dense buds and it may not look like a 1/4, but the scale doesn't lie.

And no, the buds aren't soaked wet either, they are crisp to the touch.

bottom line is, you got ripped off man. go by the bowl pack measure, it rarely fails. once you've grow accustomed to bowls that is.

We've all been fucked by a dealer once or twice. Nothing to do but let it roll off your shoulders and fire up what you did get. All part of the game.

I'd suggest buying a digital pocket scale. They're pretty cheap at anywhere from $15 to $40 USD and they're nice to have, just to make sure you're not getting ripped off or when your buddy stops by looking for a small bag. Just remember to account for the bags weight and to use caution when travelling with pot and a scale, in the U.S. that's a sure-fire way to get a "possession with the intent to distribute" charge.
