hey whats up just a couple questions

Ive got a couple plants growing inside which is all fine and dandy but within the last month police choppers have been flying around scouting the fields like you wouldnt believe but im wondering since they use infered (sorry i have no idea how to spell that one) im wondering if they can see in the house with this stuff I mean I know thats how they find it in the fields I hear that marijuana has its own unique heat. I have no idea what the temp of the plants or anything so i dont know if room temp can make these things invisible or what. I dont even know if its legal for them to look inside a house with infered? but i was beginning to get a little nervous over it. does anyone know more about this?
My second question is a little more basic but my growing space isnt that big so im only doing 5 at a time and ive had all 5 come out to be males before which is shit luck i guess. But I would love to turn the light cycle to a flowering stage for about a week or two to see what I got going. then go back to a veg stage. What kind of flaws come with doing this? Once last year i left the house for a couple weeks and when I got back the top maybe 2 or 3 inches of the plants grew over the light and the tops started showing sex im wondering if maybe the bottom was still veg stage and the tops began to show sex? is this at all possible?? if it is it would relieve this whole problem you know what I mean. I dont know let me know what you guys think.
thanks

first off, i don't think you have anything to worry about as far as the cops are concerned. they are looking for the heat put off by large growhouses, not your five plant set up. As long as your not venting a lot of heat, you should be fine.

I've heard it's bad for bud production to go from flower to veg to flower. I would not recommend it. Just wait for them to show sex or cover a branch with a black light-proof bag 12 hrs a day then 12 hours of light. the covered area will begin to show sex, and you will not have to flower the entire plant.

Sorry about the 5 males. Thats some awful luck.

Are you in the U.S.? If so, they need a warrant FIRST to thermally image your home. They can't peek inside your home with a thermal imager and use what they see to get a warrant; they have to have the warrant first. The Supreme Court has ruled on this already and it is the law of the land now: thermally imaging your home IN AND OF ITSELF constitutes a search and is thus illegal without first obtaining a warrant to do so.

And if they ALREADY have a warrant, then there's no point in thermally imaging your home at all; it's far cheaper to send two or three squad cars to your home and tear it apart. Probably more fun for the cops that way too.

There was just a Law and Order that touched on this. They used thermal imaging on a mosque (the episode was related to terrorism), and because they used the thermal imaging before they got a warrant, any evidence that was obtained had to be thrown out.
