Cheers mate.

Ecky - the two taller oes on the left and right are african queen x colombian gold and the bushier plant in the middle is a clone I got from a friend.. one generation removed from devastation is what he told me.

Well Haze,

They do look fine. Your next grow plan on using larger pots. You want a big harvest you need a big rootball.

Thanks

Yeah I was wondering if I should transplant them into some bigger pots.. or would that cause too much stress?

Not if you transplant carefully. Get someone to give you a hand so you can do it gently and not break up the root ball. Best way to transplant if they're that big though is simply cut the bottom out of the pot you have it in and stick the whole pot inside a bigger pot. The roots will grow out the bottom and fill the bigger pot. No stress at all, they just keep growing :) Try that shit :rasta:

Very interesting idea Anethema I'll give that a go.

Another question (I've got tons!), I want to take clones at some point. When's best to take a cutting?

While in vegetative state, before you induce flowering. Then once you flower, throw away the clones from the male plants and keep your female clones(keep everything marked clearly), then once you harvest find the smoke you like best and grow that clone out into a momma.

Another photo of one of my babies.

When could I expect some pre-flowers so I can determine the sex (fingers crossed for girls)..? Will I definately see some before I put them into flowering?

Can you pick out and get rid of the males after the plants have started flowering? Is this more accurate than looking for pre-flowers?

Some updated pics of the girls.

Have got them in bigger containers now and they're doing well. Unfortunately I think the one on the left might be a male. I'm not sure tho.

Gunna have to start them flowering soon I reckon, they've been going two months and the tall girl on the right is running out of room.

they are looking very good, for a first grow their is almost no stretching, which is good, when i transplant i just put my hand on the surface of the dirt, with the main stem going between my fingers, then tip it up, and shake it out, a good way to do it without too much stress is to put the pot your using into a bigger pot of soil, run water thru it but dont pat it down, then slide the plant out of one pot and put it in the hole where the other pot was, its actually really easy to transplant safely...good luck

Awesome! Are they in new containers?

Yup, I transplanted them to some 13L containers a while back so they've got more root space now.

Next time I'll probably flower earlier.. I wasn't expecting much growth and I've have to bend one since she was touching the roof!

Hello people,
Havn't had a computer for a while, just got one!

If anyone is intereted, everything has gone very nicely.

Harvested, dried and cured all my bud. It was finally ready for smoking the Monday before last.

Got 3 oz of african queen X colombian gold and 2 oz of devastation. Not sure what that is like for yeild being my first grow?

Anywho it's lovely skunky sticky bud and I've been a happy stoner. Devastation seems to knock me back a bit more but both have a good heavy stone.

Got a new grow going now, with 6 plants.

Thanks for any help you people gave me to help me succeed. Will post some pics of the buds soon.

PEACE!
