rage against the machine is really a good band and i'm mad the singer (de la rocha) left and they became audioslave  .

i mean don't you guys remember when they were together in the good old 90's and fuckin rockin out.

don't get me wrong, i can't always listen to hard rock, but rage is different, they're chill to get blazed to :stoned: and party to.

"through counter-intelligence it should be possible to pinpoint potential troublemakers, and neutralize them....and neutralize them (guitar riff) WAAAAAAAAAKE UUUUUUP!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE UUUUUUUUP!!!!!!!

ya good band....anyone got any input?

Oh yeah, I grew up listening to Rage..in fact, Battle Of Los Angeles was the first ever CD I bought. It's still one of my all-time favorites. Good shit man.

Rage is the shit! Zach is the bomb also, he did a track with KRS1 and the Last Emporer was pretty hot called CIA, off of Lyricists Lounge Volume 2 or something

I'm a HUGE Rage fan! I don't like a lot of hard rock with the exception of maybe Metallica, Deftones and Rage. I make sure I always have Evil Empire and their self-titled first album on me when I'm at school.

YEEEEAH! I love abit of RATM! I bought their self titled album a few years ago after hearing 'killing in the name of' on mtv2. I've loved them ever since. killing in the name of is still my fave song by them though. 'fuck you i wont do what you tell me!' I just love that line. I also have battle of los angeles. it's not as good as RATM but i still love it.

I like audioslave to though. It's more melodic and that singer (can't remember his name!) has an amazing voice. I like abit of soundgarden too, thats probably why I like them.

Does anyone else like rage AND audioslave?

Rage is great for toking to, because they never really specify what "movement" they are always singing about, so it can be applied to our war on the war on drugs. I liked them before I became a stoner though. It's impossible to listen to them without getting pissed at the government.

As far as audioslave... I like "Like a stone," but other than that I have their CDs and I've listened to them maybe one time through each.

I'll throw out a second "Come With It Now!"

Rage was one-of-a-kind, and their music is more than just hard rock. The statement they made is what set them apart from other artists at the time.

"It has to start somewhere.."
