Hello all:) i took some clones out of dirt and cleaned the roots very easy and put a layer of rock pellets (hydrotron) then put the roots in and covered them good.. all i forgot they r n dwc.. i put one clone in vegging and 1 in flowering.
im using GH nutes. my Q's is what should my p.h and ppm be for vegging and what should the one in flowering be? the one i have in flowering the p.h 6.0 and the ppm 996.. the one in vegging is p.h. is 6.0 and the ppm 702.. can somebody tell me if them numbers are good or bad?
thanks:dance:

id bring the ph down to 5.6-5.8
as far as nutes go, if your plants are handling it why change it is my rule of thumb,
when i first start plants in any hydro system i dont go above 400ppm, then i increase the ppm by 200 every week till it hits 1400 then i tweak it with big bug some more till i get a extreamly slight burn in the tips of leaves (usually around 1500-1600 then i let it sit ther foor the morjority of the flowering cycle till week 5 - 6 then i bring it back on down until im usign plain ol phed water
hope that helps , i know some of m y methods are unorthodox to most but hey it h as worked extreamly well for me.
if you have any mroe ? jsut ask

imho dont add nutwes to your res say half way through a week, you set your ppm to a certain level and leave it all week, 1 day a week change the nutes out with fresh ones and repeat, add fresh phed water to teh rez throughout the week to keep water levels up.
the reason for this is your plant might have only used some of the nutes but alot of the water if you add nutes your goin to hurt the plant if they get too high
rule of thumb
mix nuts on sundayadd phed water all week change nutes out on sunday again.
another way to do it is mix your nutes on sunday, then fill a bucket up with the same amount of phed water. (your rez is 2 gal mix 2g of nutes up then have a seperate bucket of plain 2g of phed water) add the water from the bucket to the rez throught the week. oncwe the bucket is empty change your nutes in your rez.
you never want to dilute the nutes more than teh rez capacity i.e if your rez is 2g dont add 4g of phed water to it all week then change out the nutes
lost yet?

always let the water sit over night, that lets the chlorine evap, you need to bring the ph down with some QUALITY ph down to 5.6-5.8
