When I ready for flowering should I just switch the timer to 12/12 quickly or decrease the light an hour a week. Also can someone point me towards the right nutes for flowering. Thanks for any and all feed back

I used to gradually increase the darkness by 1/hr a day, from 18/6 to 12/12 - didnt notice anything but more hands-on needed. Now I just flip it straight to 12/12, and call it "day 1"
Nutes, everyone has different opinions and needs, and it really depends on your soil or grow medium, feeding schedule, etc etc. I use Fox Farm Big Bloom myself and have had no problems, but theres many good nutes out there

I have never heard any negative feedback about going directly to 12/12. I also use FF Big Bloom.

going right into 12/12 is pretty standard. What is frequently recommended is to turn off the light for a full 24 hours before flowering to induce the flowering state a little quicker. Then turn your light cycle to normal 12/12 and eventually down to 11/13 where supposedly the best flowering light cycle is implemented. As long as you got 12/12 or less light for flowering you are in good shape.

I do a dark cycle right before 12-12 of 24 to 36 hours.
