Anyone from bay area?

more specifically east bay, california. thats where I live. meh, haven't found a hookup here, and I'm really timid, I was just lookign for some advice and maybe to talk to someone who knows the area, I dunno.

I'm only 15 years old, and I do realize that it does look suspicious, but I've been browsing these forums and signed up recently just so I could ask these kind of questions. I went into Berkeley and looked around, but I really didn't see anyone. Maybe I'm not that good at spotting people, and I'm very shy and afraid I might ask the wrong person.

I was thinking of buying a shirt with a marijuana leaf or something to that effect on it, but I wasn't sure how my mom would react.

Although she's all for the legalization of marijuana - she does not know I smoke, and I'm sure she'd freak if she found out, though.

Well, i live in the bay aswell and i can tell you that walking up to some black man in the tenderloin in sf will get you shanked. i suggest just asking some friends if they know anyone, that would be the safest option. next if the friends option doesnt work out i would try in school first, now thats not to say that you should buy in school(depends on how lax or uptight your school is on drug policy) just try and scope out some people you should definitly be able to find someone that way.

Looking for weed in east bay is like looking for hay in a haystack. You just need to start hanging out with some cool people, you'll find someone who smokes. If you haven't found anyone by next semester, take a class at berkely, you'll strike up a conversation with someone who smokes and be making your mom happy by taking college classes, see?

As I stated earlier, I'm homeschooled so other than just some community college class, I can't really meet anyone through school. I don't really know how I could make friends with anyone other than that, as I've never had to since I move so often I never get to continue being friends with anyone. Most of my friends I've known for years are from online.

You could always find a local head shop (shop that sells heads... no wait they sell bongs and pipes and papers...) and go in there often you will most certainly find someone in there who is cool and would be glad to help you. You just need to show your face for awhile before approaching anyone about it.

School is just one, there are hundreds of others.

Everyone here has given you a fair amount of advice, I don't know what you're looking for but it doesn't get much easier than this. There isn't some magical answer to finding weed, either you put your ass into looking or forget about it.

You're in east bay. If you were in, let's say Missouri or Iowam you'd be a lot more screwed. Weed is all around you, just open your eyes. Learn to strike up conversations, you can meet a lot of really cool people.

Then I take it you meant by saying next semester that, since I can't sign up for a class now, I should sign up next semester as that's the soonest time I can? I'm sorry I took it the wrong way. I've had plenty of help, I wasn't looking for a magical way to find someone. I didn't say I wasn't going to try it, I just kept posting responses because a lot of different people were giving me advice.
