WK 4 FLOWER!!! your valuable opinions please!!!

Hi there guys, i've mannaged so far with building, growing and flowering my first really succesfull grow thanks to all you guys so i'd like to start by saying thanks for all the knowledge and support you guys offer!!

My plant is in a cabinet 2' by 3' grow space with additional room for a 250w hps and 5 100w equivalent cfl's. 2 fans in there, one for atmoshphere cooling and one for cooling the hps, bloody things get hot!!!!

i was being impatient as i wanted to see if this grow would work in this small space, and flowered after only 4 weeks veg (about 6 nodes) so i know the yeild wont be great this time but plane to SGROG some big bud x northern lights seeds which i'm getting next week.

the plant has been on 12/12 for 4 weeks now and has about 8 pair of budsites, the main cola and 4 branches which i'm trying to lst into the light to get a descent bud off them.

I'm a little concerned about the lower fan leaves yellowing and the small bud it has, i fed the plant a solution of NPK 10-5-2 during veg and gradually went onto NPK 3-10-10 for flower. I have applied Epsom Salts and a high N solution with no luck so maybe the plant is jus using its nutrients from the leaves as part of its natural flowering process??? also am i being impatient with the bud? will it fatten up as it geas through the last few weeks?

The pics are a bit blurry, but the only reasonable explination other than soil pH or what ever is that it's just suffering from low Nitrogen.

But anyways, your grow looks good going along very smoothly! If you are concerned at all about your plant size then I would say choosing to flower at 6 nodes is not bad at all. You could have actually grown more than 1 plant with that kind of lighting (maybe 3) and got some more bud but for now 1 plant is good.

You are right in that the plant is sloughing off its old dead leaves in order to help production in other areas. Your buds are taking this energy from the fan leaves that cannot be sustained. A good rule of thumb that I go by is to let the leaves die on their own, but if they look like there is no point of return then you can use a clean razor blade to cut them off. Sometimes if they are really yellow they will just come off with hardly any touch. It is a good idea to trim the fan leaves towards harvest more and more so that the buds can get more of the nutrients.

Marijuana puts on most of its weight during flowering in the last two weeks so try not to get inpatient. I am trying to do the same as we speak!

great advice, i've flushed her and she's looking a bit better now. not too worried about the fan leaves now though.

jus a quicky, i know you will al say 'its impossible to predict' but looking at my setup and size of plant do you think i will get a decent yeild (i.e.) enough for me!!! for a few weeks??? again, i know its not easy to say... jus wondered.

yes, you plop that light right down on top of that bad boy and let the cola get real big. size is nothing without potency though. the cola alone will give you a few weeks of smoke
