Wont stay lit

I have just seen a joint that would not stay lit. This in itself is not too uncommon. BUT, this bud was very dry. Powered form. But after trying to burn the joint unsuccesssfully, it was then broken up and to our surprise it was moist again. Can someone explain this please? And if you know how to fix it please inform me. I've never seen anything like it before.

the best weed to use for joint (opinions vary) is semi-crumbly weed that you have an abundance of. It needs to be in between moist and really dry for best results. You can't pack it too tightly or with too big of chunks but more importantly, USE GOOD ROLLING PAPERS! zig-zags are good, blut wraps are good etc. If you buy cheap cigarette papers or something similar you will get runs and moisture buildup in the paper itself and sometimes even the resin accumulates too much at the tip you suck on.

A few days ago I smoked for the first time ever a clear joint. Thats right the rolling paper was clear and it smoked as good if not better than a regular joint. It is similar in composition to plastic or rice paper.

bad rolling skills maybe, ive had people pull out joints that look alright and then theyll pass it, ill hit it and itll go out, so we end up just trashing to joint and smoke out of a bong or pipe

did u put the roach thing on the tip? roll a piece of a buisnesscard or thick paper and put it in the end of the j where you take the hit from. or just use the two pens method. i always use the two pens method... its amazing. go to google and search it. every time i use the two pens method i always have prestine joints

Your saliva will make it moist, and this is just a theory of mine, but I think that when you head the bud enough resin oils start to come out and shit.

It's the powdered weed, once it's rolled it basically becomes compacted into a solid cylinder of marijuana and air isn't able to be pulled through the pot. Like the man said before, semi-crumbly weed is far better. Also hand rolled joints seem to burn far better than machine rolled, in my opinion.

It probably seemed more moist after you unrolled it because of the resin from the few hits that were taken.

OK once again this weed was so dry that when crumbeled it turned to dust. It was rolled with Zig Zags, no filter and was hand rolled rather loosely. I have since tried smoking it from a bowl and I have to light it every time until it is completely gone.
The farmer is very upset. This was his first crop and he can't get it to burn. What could have caused this? 3 plants and they are all like this.
