I was wondering how I should store my soil that I have left. I didn't use the whole bag, and I want it to stay fresh so I can use it the next time I start a plant. What should I do?
EDIT: I am using Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil.

I just roll my bag up, and sit it in the garage ... :smokin:
yeah, pour a little water in the bag too to help keep it from getting over-dried to the point where it won't retain water...should it ever get that dry add a couple drops of dish soap to a gallon of water and pour over the soil before using.

I'd be cautious about storing it damp, seems like that would be inviting fungi, Pythium Wilt, or molds ... but, I could be wrong, I'm not a dirt scientist ... :D

I keep my soil mixes in big giant Rubbermaid storage totes labeled as to what they were made for, seedlings, veg, flower, etc.
My only issue is that now we're getting into the freezing time of year so I let them dry out completely so I can still scoop some out even when it's 10 degrees out on my porch! Then they do have to be re-hydrated in the bathtub, but whatever.
