Not sure if this belongs in politics, but one of the articles on the front page said that the DARE program is defunct. I don't get it though. The DARE program is still running from what I know, in my area atleast. Can sombody shed some light on the subject?

If it isn't it should be. It's welfare for cops. The "hugs are better than drugs" bumper stickers were cool, though. You could cut the words out and switch them around.

Those DARE guys are just as obnoxious as the cops in the US. One of those DARE campaigners actually asked me about drugs while i was wearing Adidas Rasta Hemp shoes and a weed t-shirt.... told the bugger i was from Amsterdam and smoked daily.... that shut him up! BTW that bumper sticker thing is funny stuff.... wish i had gotten my hands on one of those! Peace
