Seed Boutique and warnings ...

just passing this on ... I occasionally see some satisfied Seed Boutique customers, but this could be something to ponder ... my friend received no seeds from SB-Nirvana, after ordering about $300 worth of seeds from them (they verified receiving his cash) ... no seeds ... so, he stopped his VISA payment after a reasonable amount of time passed ... this was 3-4 months ago ... he just today, received a letter from VISA, verifying the payment problems, and told him "this Seed Boutique' account is the source of many, many, scam complaints, and they highly recommend avoiding doing any business with them ... I do realize, that the 'problems' may be related to Customs seizures, which Seed Boutique has no control over, but the warning is still out there ... be aware you are purchasing illegal products, and you assume all risks ... don't whine if stuff doesn't arrive, it can happen to the best of companies, too ... :smokin:

I've had no problems with them at all. Most of the problems probably are from Customs seizures though. One thing I decided early on is not to put too many eggs in one basket. Instead of one big order, I have placed several smaller orders, $35 tops at risk per order. That almost definitely increases the chance that *something* will get seized (although nothing ever has, for me), but it also increases the chances that something *won't* get seized too. Losing one big order like that $300 one mentioned above...that'd blow.

This is a good point, and one of the reasons I like seedboutique/seedbay.

I sent them a $300 cash order recently and instead of putting th e whole thing in one package, they split it among 3 parcels. At least something would be bound to get to me... and it all did :D
I would hesitate though to use credit simply because it's tough to have a legal recourse in case of problems when yuou order an illegal item.

Thats what I do, I make 3 orders with 2 strains each and I get the freebies also. So then I get 3 freebie strains, I have never had a problem with them. I mail in my cash to them, and $300 is just way to much on one order. Better luck next tmie to your friend roadcam :o ...

it's funny you say that ... that's exactly what he did, asked them to split into 3 orders ... I thought that was dumb, that it just increases the shipping risk x3, :confused: anyway, he received none of them ... probably just Customs on a winning streak ... :smokin:

I must be the lucky one as I recieved them with my Hawaiian Snow, and have three started as of tonight..I have seen many who have not been fortunate enough to get them to pop. I use the wet towels in a baggie, which I lay on my DSL modem..

i dont use SB but a buddy of mine did and got his no problem. i use GSAfor all my orders and havnt had any probs.

I ordered from seedbay back in the middle of November and never recieved anything. So after a month I sent an email inquiring as to where my seeds were, and I was told "Hee hee" sure hope they arrive. I won't order from that f**ker again. I have heard several people tell me that they don't always send the seeds.

I don't get the bold parts there that are contradicting. Can you clarify that?

I have read about a bunch of places and ordered from a few this month. I haven't received anything from Sensi Seeds or BC Bud Depot (that was a mistake!) yet but it hasn't been that long either. Anyway I just ordered some seeds from seedboutique because I heard great things about them, except for this thread. I'm paying with a MO.

I guess they all can be a gamble but I have faith ... not so much for BCBD though. ;)
