LOL seriously no one is really growing on this site everyone is imagining if they were to grow how it would go. Then y ou get some pictures of people say where weed is legal and post just to make it seem that much realer. It's all imagination don't worry about DEA my friend. If you grow one imaginary plant that you don't tell anyone about, and grow it in a confined space and control the odor, not only will nobody care much about it, nobody will know about it either. If you're concerned about getting caught, you have to be careful, and definitely don't grow to sell or distribute to anyone anywhere in any way. Should be fine then, there's lots of other more important things that the law enforcement has to be concerned about.

When it all comes down to it, marijuana is just a plant. It seems bigger than it really is because everyone is making a big deal out of it. The only thing you have to worry about is sight and aroma, maybe you have to worry about alot more if you want to produce potent buds like they are being produced now a days. But other than that eliminate those 2 things or atleast keep those out of the view of people and you shouldnt have anything to worry about.

Beyond sight and aroma, one of the main ways they get probable cause (once they suspect you) is from your trash. NEVER leave anything incriminating in your trash. Then even if they suspect you, what can they do? Nothing in sight, nothing to smell, nothing suspicious in the trash.

I doubt some random posts on websites are enough for probable cause unless you leave your picture somewhere, with your real name and address. Yes, they can trace your IP address unless you cloak it, but so what. By the time they'd read it, contact the authorities in another country and get permission to look at the records of a website not under their authority (which is very unlikely to happen), time will have passed. And what if you're using someone else's WiFi network to access the net? Then they'll burst in on some grandma next door to you in the middle of the night and give her a heart attack and her family would sue them for millions; they just can't risk that, so they will look for physical evidence before proceeding -- your trash, something you left in plain sight, something like that.

anyways, even if u put illegal stuff in your trash just make sure your trash can on on your sidewalk or drive or on your property, technically the garbage men shouldnt pick it up but they still do, but if its on your property then no one cant violate the search and siezure amendment
