First of I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Holden, I've been smoking since I was 16 and am now 19. I know quite a bit about all this after three years. I've had one indoor and one outdoor they were very fun experiences until the end. With both my friend and I were caught, the first time his parents knew the whole time and in the end when we were done harvesting they busted him in order to take it for themselves. They acted like they threw it away but he went through all of the trash like 10 minutes after and basically all he found was some bongs we made with PVC pipe. But he didn't find his pyrex bowl or the weed. And his dad while his mom was screaming at him was looking at our end product under the light as if he was a consieur. But the outdoor grow we almost got caught but harvested early. It was an insane grow, the plant started to die so we chopped of the top cola and it split into two seperate plants. So it was a siamese twin, it even had different attributes, the hairs turns purple on one and goldish on the other. Anywho, that's basically my growing experience. I've had a lot more experience with buying and such but that would take to long. Anywho, I hope I can learn a lot more on these boards, I know I definitely don't know everything.

Personally, I believe this is an important thing to know. I know basic things about these two strain groups but I'd like to know more about the physical attributes of these two. Differences and similarites please. I figured I might as well put this question in the same thread so I don't like spam by putting two threads in a row.

There are three strain groups but only two are good to smoke.

Sativa strain is known to give an "up / headdy / trippy" high.
The plants normally grow taller, and take longer to grow.
The leaves are more slender, skinnier.

Indica strain is known to give a "couch lock" high, a sedative effect.
The plant grows quicker than sativas.
The fingers of the leaves are fatter.

Thats what i know to seperate the two, welcome

My friend and I used to have accounts on overgrow before it got shut down, that's where we got most of our tips, so I figured I might as well join another forum after all of this time.
