Free downloads?

so what programs do you guys use to download your free MP3's. Im looking for one that on the safer side with like viruses and shit dont want any of that what some good places you guys use?

I don't know the details, but I heard Limewire is still good. You get the "trial" version or something, and then you download the full version from someone else during your trial. I haven't done it, so I don't if it works or any of that business.

Lime wire is you need it fast and messy,
SoulSeek if you want it clean, high quality, and full albums,
and Torrents if its rare or big.

infirius i cant belive u use soulseek too! it awsome i love that program but it takes a long time sometimes but your right it is much cleaner and nicer than limewire

I also use limewire for individual songs and torrent for any thing bigger...
I used to use soulseek but it seemed to go downhill (less people) untill I couldn't find anyting on it anymore...I have been using limewire for the past couple of weeks and it seems ok so far.

Ares for most things, torrent for others. If neither of those work, I use LimeWire, but for some reason LimeWire runs extreeeeeeeemely sloooooooooow on my computer so I try to use it as little as possible.

usually when I want to dl mp3's I only want a couple so I go to google and type in <song title> download, and pick random site and i'll find it in just a couple minutes

I tried Bearshare because Orangeman recommend it but after typing in a couple of my favourite porn stars there wasn't much feedback, none of the rarer movies that I want, still searching for something better. And torrents only really work if you know exactly what your looking for. Limewire is good for tunes but that's it, I wouldn't even consider dling any movies off there.

research "turrents" and "bitlord" if you can get the hang of it you can download anything from entire movies...to full cd's to just certain songs....good luck bro

fuck torrents, that shits slower than a snail goin uphill on a rainy day...

took me an hour and a half to download Silent Hill (a 2 hour movie) using rapidshare and IDM :D

Hellll yeah man. I love it because it's like a little community of people, and most of them all have the same thing on their minds : lovely, high quality, organized, MUSIC. It's not just IP addresses and a bunch of horny old men trying to dl Debbie does Dallas. Not that I've seen Debbie Does Dallas.

But yeah Soulseek is great.
And for the record:
BEARSHARE SUCKS. It's like the lil' kiddie version of dl progs. If you're gonna be messy, at least use limewire...
