so the rum diary, another novel by hunter thompson is being turned into a movie, with johnny depp in it, not playing thompson, but playing paul kemp. its to be released in 2008, anyone psyched for another awesome movie about thompson? by the way, if you have not read the book, i highly recommend it, its awesome

yeah i suggest reading fear and loathing, it explains so much more than the movie, its amazing

I'm really happy about this actually...after reading the book and creating mental pictures of so many scenes, I wonder how it's going to look like in the movie. Ya know what I mean?

Fuck yeah, Benicio del Toro is supposed to be in it also. It will be bad ass as long as Johnny Depp is over that pirate stage(thats why production is backed up). It will be really tight anyways cause that is my fav thompson book. Been reading some Chuck Palahniuk books lately though. cant wait 4 the flick!
