I was thinking of investing in a ventilation system for my grow room; right now i have my ventilation running with fans in windows which is working well but i fell i will run into future problems. i want to set up ducting pipes to air cool my lights (2 1000w MH) and to control the air flow. I plan on using CO2 to this is important for my set-up. on hot days my grow room can get up to 86F which is too hot for my comfort. my grow room is 9'x7'x8' so two 1000w lights can heat it up pretty fast. my plan was to have one ventilation pipe running to cool my lights at all times and 2 more vent. pipes for air intake and exhaust. i wanted to use a 265 CFM fan for the lights and a 465 CFM fan for the hot air extraction. if i do it right it should create a suction and i wont have to use an intake fan.
Any comments or critacism would be appreciated because it is my first time doing this. thanks--

Hey santacruz
I dont know if this will help but,on the intake for the lights I use an air conditioner filter.I dont want any dirt or dust or anything going across my lights but air.You say you are venting with window fans now,I would get a small window ac to cool the room and use the 465cfm fan for a carbon scrubber to get rid of the smell. The 265cfm fan will push air though a 6" duct as far as 40 feet with no problems.I'am guessing that the 265&465cfm fans are CAN fans? There the best fan you can buy.Plantlightinghydroponics.com
has the best price on VORTEX CAN fans check them out.
That's my 2cents
