How do you make a homemade reflector? And how much will the items cost to make it?

Which light produces deep blue light? what produces a warm neutral light?

and what produces a warm yellow neutral light? Just curious.

CTT in Kelvin (K)/ Light Color/ Effect/

5000 to 8000/ Deep blue/ Encourages excellent leaf and stem growth.

4000 to 5000 / Light blue/ Encourages good leaf and
stem growth.

4000/ Neutral white/ Promotes normal growth.

3700 to 4000/ Warm neutral/ Promotes rapid growth.

3000 to 37000/ Warmer yellow neutral/ Highly active
photosynthesis for all stages of growth.

1500 to 3000/ Hot orange or red/ Promotes flowering.


^^^^ i'm going off of that. I'm pretty sure hps is the hot orange or red and not really sure what the light blue is either i think cfl falls under that category i dont know though help me out peeps.


Oh as well C02 What does my light power have to be in order to use Co2 and it works?

I kno this is alot of questions but i have been reading just i heard someone say that you can't use Co2 with a low amount of lumens and just wondering whats the number you would need about sense i plan on making a homemade co2 generator also read on this site. So thanks if you can help i have already learned so much on this site.

Well blue or full spectrum white light is great for seedlings and vegetative growth, it primarily prevents stretching, and the reddish light is used for flowering, as it is what the plant mainly uses for energy. I only know about CFLs, so bacically for seedlings and vegetative just use the full spectrum or soft white lights which are considered to have more light in the blue spectrum. These lights will be somewhere around 5500k. Then for flowering use the reddish lights, they're usually 2700k or thereabouts. You can also just use the different spectrum lights together to get a good overall spectrum, at least when using CFLs.

Edit: and you can just get some regular clip on lights with reflectors.

I use dry ice alot cause I get it free About 5 lbs. twice a week.put it in a milk jug cut the top off drop in the dry ice and about 3oz. water and sit it by the fan.I all so mist the plants with club soda just before lights out.I do that with the dry ice too.My plants love it and I know I'am not given them to much co2
Are you useing cfl or HDI? I grow under cfls for clones & 3 or 4 weeks veg and flower under HPS.

I'm growing with cfl's but like i read on this site that you need a certain amount lumens for the plants to take up the c02 is that true?
