Accidental Salvia Trip - BEWARE!!!!

Here's an experience that happened to me just recently. My friend wanted to try salvia and it was her first time. Needless to say, we were all pretty drunk and high off of some FINE ass bud. So she tried it and tripped out hardcore. It looked really scary but afterwards she said she liked it a lot so it was cool. So afterwards we all want to smoke another bowl of this delicious bud (it tasted just like Fruity Pebbles) so I tapped out the ashes from the salvia and packed it with the bud. We all took a few hits and then all of a sudden I started tripping out! OH SHIT! I didn't clean the bowl out well enough. Good thing though that I was the only one because if we had all been tripping at the same time it might have ended up being very confusing and frightening considering we thought we were smoking just weed. Luckily though it was like just one hit so it wasn't that bad and I was coherent enough to realize that it was just salvia. So I tapped the bowl out and sure enough there was some intact salvia at the bottom of the bowl. So then we just took the weed and put it into another bowl and smoked it and had a great time.

The moral of the story . . . . .

IF YOU SMOKE SALVIA OUT OF A PIPE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLEAN THE BOWL THOROUGHLY OR YOU MAY BE IN FOR AN UNPLEASANT SURPRISE.

i always pack a fat bowl in the same pipe my salvia was in and i dont clean it out and that never happened to me

Crazy trip th first time, was not expecting it to be that powerful, second time I felt sweaty, and like my clothes were very heavy..

Not very good..

First time I laughed for 2mins straight non stop then BAM stopped laughing.

Also, you come down fast, and you feel like shit..

gee, you must have powerful lungs to be able to fire the salvia hot enough. Most people don't smoke pot in the manner that salvia requires to vaporize...

with just remains of salvia, I can't really see that happening and if any it would be weak and you would feel a very mild feeling of the salvia.

You dont need to vaporize the salvia to fuck you up. When Ive smoked it, just used a bic lighter and a quick light, no diffrent from lighting a bowl of weedes, and it fucks the hell it of me/./

Yes, actually you do. When I say vaporize, I don't mean using a VB, I mean heating the active salvianorin-A to a high enough temp that it will vaporize and enter the lungs, since it requires more heat than THC. I agree, you can use a bic to smoke salvia you just have to keep it fired the whole time, and I tend to not smoke bud that way. Personal preference maybe...

I hate the smell of salvia so never use it in my good bongs and wouldn't even think of using my pipes. I find it smells like shit, likes potatos or something

salvia works on plain lighters
it does not need to be super hot
it even works in joints with weed

that would be FUCKED UP man. i watched my friend sprinkle some salvia into a blunt which i REFUSED TO smoke for obvious reasons. needless to say, he got the pins and needles pretty bad. he was royally fucked up on top of the fact that he was tripping balls. sucks even more when you dont expect it.

As I said, the trip wasn't very intense but it was enough for me to know that I had smoked salvia. I was coherent and able to talk, but I was definately having a trip. I'm not really concerned about whether or not you believe me. I post information from my personal experiences for other people to benefit, but they can choose to ignore it of they wish.

Somebody mentioned that their friend had sprinkled a little bit into some pot. I wouldn't recommend this because you'd have to smoke a very high amount of salvia in a short amount of time as compared to pot to have an intense trip. If you mixed it, you'd only smoke a little salvia and get mostly undesirable effects.
