As a newbie, I too am having problems determining a male from a female. I have a veg area and a 12/12 area which is totally dark. It has been 15 days since I moved some over to 12/12 and I am finally starting to see some changes. Couple more questiions -
1) How quick does pollenation happen? Is it something that happens before I can even see the so called balls?
2) These are a mix of white widow and ice femmenized seeds but it's 99.9% garunteed, how often does that .01% happen?
3) I have 4 clones that have grown roots (yoooohooo), first try all took, not that hard (hope i didn't speak to soon).
4) I am running 6 4' Flor Tubes on the sides of the plants and a 150HPS above, is this recomended for 4 - 6 plants (flowering) or should I switch it around?
5) Should we trim the shade leaves off when you switch to 12/12, someone told me that but I wanted to make sure.
Any comments are appreciated... My next post concerns my next set of seeded ice plnts... They have been under 24/24 for 28 days and they almost look like they are flowering, please review and comment...
Yall have a blast, I don't do the stuff anymore but man I love watching them grow....
