Seriously, bro. I now realize why not many of the experts are answering questions out there much anymore. There is SO MUCH info on this board covering virtually every topic and where to get every item that they probably are just tired of feeling like a broken record. Luckily for you, tho, there are some of us newbies who have taken the time to read and research and we are still fresh and willing to answer these.
Ok, nuff ranting. Mylar is easiest to get at a hydro store. From what I've read, Walmart might not have plain mylar, but many places apparently sell "emergency blankets," which are made of mylar and are only a couple of (american) bucks. Try that. Emergency blankets. Ping!

Or for a WHOPPING 10 more dollars he could just get mylar.

I'm sure you could even find it cheaper elsewhere, this is just where I got mine.

I just did a Google search for it, and wound up ordering it from some nursery supply in Sacramento, but don't remember the name ... sorry ... just do a Google :smokin:

Now, now, sth, if you would have read my post, or any of the several posts out there where I got this info, the emergency blanket IS MYLAR. It is also a good source for people who are wary about online shopping and hydrostore patronage.
Sometimes, a whopping $10 doesnt actually equal $10 of value. ;)
By the way, I have mylar in my grow, and I've read many posts about the ER blanket...so I was just answering the question. If you want my opinion, though, I think flat white paint is the way to go for ease of use, durability, stealthiness (if you have to break down), and cleanliness. I'm sure the next best would be the reflectix or the panda sheets. But, like I said, I was just answering the question. :D:D
*takes a puff*
Salright? Salright.
