I have put my seeds in between 2 damp paper towels to start germinating. I was told that u should try not to touch the seess with your finger...does this effect the seeds? Should they be warm while they are in the damp towels? if so at what temperature? Also should they be in the dark at this point? Any advice appreciated.

I've read that it's ok if you touch the seeds with your hands but after you need to pour some hyrdrogen peroxide on the paper towel where the seeds are. This gets rid of the bacteria not only on the paper towel but your hands too. Even if you dont touch it with your hand it just seems more sanitary anyways

take it from someone who has germinated thousands of seeds...... dont use a paper towel. there are hundreds of micro roots that become embedded in the paper towel and torn of when removed. if your gonna bother growing pot you need to put some money into it so you should go buy a seed germination medium.
