lorezapam = relative of valium, i'm prescribed it because of my anxiety, supposed to take 1 (LOL like 1 of any pill has ever done anything to me) when i start having a panic attack. if you've ever taken xanax, they're kinda like that, but not quite as drunk feeling in the head, but you forget shit, and stumble around alot in confusion...
i'm scared of going.... i don't wanna go... dont' make me go.

Slipknot, sorry to hear you just smoked your last bowl for a while, and I'm even sorrier to hear of your upcoming surgery. Do you mind if I ask if it's big surgery--like heart or brain or something major and open? (as opposed to minimally invasive day surgery done with laparascopes or arthroscopes). Actually, come to think of it, anyone who's having surgery considers it big. Only someone close to the medical field would categorize it otherwise. Luckily, once you've been through it once, you'll be an old hand at it and will not feel as anxious if you ever have to do it again.
Bear this in mind. Those doctors who are going to be taking care of you had a lot of schooling. They're smart people. And they're also in that business to help people and not hurt them. They and their nurses and assistants are well trained and are going to be totally focused on your making it through surgery and anesthesia without incident and as painlessly as possible. If you knew how totally focused they are on making sure patients do well, I suspect you'd feel less anxious. That's their job, and your health really is their top priority. Good luck to you, my friend!

well, it's to have my bottom teeth all removed (they're just that bad) and i've went through ti before, i had my tops removed awhile back, i'm sti nervous... and as for the doctor i do know him.. he's kinda impatient.... which adds to my nervousness... he also didn't get paid (or the hospital) didn't when i had the tops done and it's going to be the same doctor this time.... he seemed a bit irritated with me this time around. anyways, i like to keep the details minimal but i'm still nervous.

I had an aunt that had all of her teeth removed like that. Bad teeth ran in her family for some reason. Her daughter has the same thing and she's going to have to have some removed in a few months. Some of her teeth have a green tint to them and look pretty nasty even though she does try to take good care of them

Thanks for sharing, and I'm sorry to have asked a question that delved into your business that way. I can understand why you're nervous. I just want to thump docs that act that way with patients. It's so easy to be calm, patient and reassuring--and to separate oneself from whatever billing dilemmas are happening. That's just unforgiveable in my book. There are too many good, calm, friendly docs to have to endure one like that. Think it over. It might not be too late to fire his impatient ass and get another.
I have an ophthalmologist who's the same way. Impatient. Makes me nervous. He's very lofty and arrogant. Just a sort of an overall jerk. I get the distinct feeling that all he really wants to do is high-bill Lasic procedures, not routine eye medical care. My husband's theory is that he's that way with me because I'm a smart women who asks too many questions--and because I'm also four inches taller than the doctor. Anyway, I found myself dreading going to him (and I seriously would do almost anything to avoid going to the eye doctor--it creeps me out), when I suddenly realized earlier this year that I didn't have to go to him anymore. So I got myself a new eye doctor, who's much nicer. I still hate going there, though. Don't like anyone messing with my eyes.
