i just read the transcript for one of the "above the influence" commercials, and it makes no sense...

(The ad spot is one side of a phone conversation the morning after a party.)

Tim!!... (laughing) Hey...

(silence)

How'd she get home?
(silence)

Man, I was so high, I...

(silence)

Are we cool?

(silence)

Tim, you know me. That's not me...

(The friend on the other end of the phone hangs up and the guy is left sitting there.)

Nothing happened, theyâ??re trying to keep kiddies off weed and since they can't think of a particularly appealing reason why not they gave you half a conversation and let your imagination invent some horrible situation.

Just replace the words with "Man, I was so DRUNK last night..." and everyone will understand it. But high...nah. Wow, that WAS a weak commercial. :(

That's funny... putting it that way, suddenly it DOES make sense. But ya' never see that in an ad... Just some dumb idiot driving in a car full of martini and olive, with "Don't Drink and Drive".
Fucking ad people. How can they sleep at night? Them, televised wrestling, and paris hilton are the sole contributors to pollution of the mind.
