O.K. I have done alot of research on light spectrum and have found some very useful info..but .. I can only use fluoros and I know 3000k is ideal for flowering so I picked up some T12 soft white 30w & 3000k. Then I read that the T12 is great for vegging. So whats up?? What is the best flouro light for flowering?
Thanks for any input

best for veg is GE daylight bulbs (veg spec is 6500k)

best for flower is kitchen and bath (flower spec is 2700k)

daylight bulbs are 3050lumens per 48'' bulb. kitch and bath are only 1600 so you may want t add another double fixture when it is time to flower.

also consider cfl's. they take up less space as the don't need a special fixture.

hope this helps.

love, brooke

I was also looking at ticoblunts post and those lights look pretty awesome. In fact I ordered some. But I sure appreciate you taking time to answer.
