Jackherer.com website is an excellent source. Make sure you make a list of all there arguments and find PROOF against them.

Braincells? Theres only 1 study that was done about this, and it wen't like this.

They forced monkeys to smoke a TON of weed, like more than most people would ever smoke. They basically suffocated them with carbon monoxide, which comes off any plant materlial that produces smoke. Then they killed the monkeys, counted brain cells and compared them to the dead monkeys who didn't smoke weed. Basically, they suffocated the monkeys. There wasn't enough oxygen getting to their brain so they had more dead braincells.

I'm pretty sure I read that on jackherer.com, but I can't find the page where it says that, and cites the experiment.

Tell yoru class they need to actually RESEARCH what they are tlaking about.

yea but my teacher was like i no a freshamn that came into the school clean and by the time senior year came around he was fried and now he is like that for the rest of his life. so when i try to tell him about it not killing brain cells he is going to say that he has seen living proof.

that kid who got fried.. that could have been anything. theres no way to really directly link it to weed (well i guess i dont know the story but it doesnt seem like it). and if it was cause of the weed, it was prob cause the kid abused it. its just like anything else. too much of it can be a bad thing. you have to still be able to function on a daily basis or at least one of two days. but id tell them to show you a little better proof or at least a more solid argument. good luck

then hit them with more medical reports :dance:-- run a search on -- cannabis abstract and any major disease-- glioma (nasty brain cancer), cancer, alzheimers (new report just came out a few days ago! It works better that the doctor's pills!), diabetes, ALS, Parkinson's, neuropathy, diabetes... just run them with cannabis abstract and you will get thousands of hits on how cannabis can treat these diseases. Print them up and educate them! It's hard to argue against treating diseases with a simple herb! :thumbsup:
