What is the point in these ? Can anybody help me to understand why someone would want one and what use they are ?
For example, you can't drive over a speed bump in one, and it's very difficult to drive over railroad tracks in one without coming to a complete stop first.
I saw one today going down the road with a Wal Mart bag stuck up underneath it, flapping in the wind. Why do people waste money on these things ?
Please discuss.

because these guys don't think they can get the girs they want (or atelast not as easily) with who they are, so they drive these flashy peices of shit around do the job for them.

All the Gino Latino types here in Miami drive those pieces of crap.

they have a type of bag in them that can raise and lower the height.. so speed bumps and tracks / w.e doesnt cause much effect.
i personally like them.
its just a style of a car..

A fancy car/truck just compensates for them having a small penis. :D
They are for more show than drive those LR vehicles. I agree though, they are about an inch from the ground and major damage can happen. I think some are nice, but nothing I'd ever want to own.
If I ever decide to drive and get a vehicle, it would be a jacked up truck that can go easily on roads, and off road, like mud bogging.

Not much to discuss. It's personal opinion. Just as I and several of my friends are into muscle cars (domestic), some are into lowriders. My Trans Am is extremely low to the ground and it's loud at that. I have to be careful where I drive and which routes I take ect. It can be a hassle but I don't mind.
Something you might not have seen is kids lowering their trucks to the ground and actually dragging their undercarriages across the ground. I have seen a few dragging their bumpers and throwing sparks all while making a rediculous noise that makes most people cringe.
Now, goofed up Hondas with wild exhaust and rediculous color schemes I can't stand lol.

I just use an atv for that. lol
I hate Body Mod'd Ricer's too. Not hating imports, just the aftermarket looks. I used to drive a 97 Civic hatchback.. but I didnt "pimp it".. under the hood was nice, stock only with an K&N aftermarket air-filter, but kept the body looked as if it came off the lot. No interest to change it any more.
It's all about the looks... not because they're good.
