Sketchy encounter with the po-po

Ok, so im a senior this year, and we get an hour-ish for lunch and we can leave the school to get whatever. So ive been pretty much blazing it up every day for lunch and getting some subs before i go back to class.

So this one day is no different, except instead of going behind this house which we (my friend and i) normally do, we just chill parked on the side of the road, smokin a bowl and eating some food. We finish the bowl and just chill listening to some music and this mailman walks by and asks if we live there, this kinda sketches me out so i just said no and he walked away.

Im parked at one end of this long street, and all of the sudden i see 2 cop cars pull in on the other side of the street, i look at my friend and say "dude theres 2 cop cars coming what the fuck is going on?" so i flip out and just decide to peace, so i start the car and drive down the street. All the while i "know" theyre coming for me because we werent doing that great of job hiding when we were smoking, and they travel in pairs so you know they were looking to start some shit.

I pass the cop car expecting him to pull in front of me and arrest my ass. however he just drives past... needless to say i fuckin floored it to school and appreciated how lucky i was the rest of the day.

crazy shit. they have been doing some serious crackdown where i live, like 4 people have been arrested for posession in the past couple months.

it was mid day, there werent any cars around... but yea no matter what i say it was a pretty dumb idea hehe

And be aware, too, that during the day, people, particularly young, unfamiliar ones, who are seeming to loiter around houses, apartments or neighborhoods send a danger signal to people who're at home, even when the unfamiliar folks are not smoking anything suspicious. Anyone who's had even the most basic of crime watch training will often call the cops when they see a couple of out-of-the ordinary people hanging out for fear you might be potential robbers. You'd be amazed how often vigilant neighbors or cops cruisng around will deter potential house robberies by just keeping an eye out for unfamiliar visitors.

^^ that is fucked up, i mean seriously i would be pissed if i wasnt doing jack in a neighborhood and was jsut chillin on the curb and got the cops called on me. I mean i know where theyre coming from but still, theres not much to do if you dont have bud to smoke while out on lunch at my school. so we just park somewhere and chill, listen to some tunes.

I know, it is messed up when you think about it. But people are paranoid. And sometimes they have good cause to be that way. It's not fair to innocent kids, though, it's true. That's why it's so much easier to live your life when you get a bit older and have your own place. Don't have to spend so much time hanging out in cars where the world can see in.

You just should have held up your sub sandwiches and told the mailman you were on lunch break from school. He may have thought you guys were gonna rob a house or something. Cuz, you know he called the cops.
Just make it easy on yourselves from now on and use lunch as your excuse. Just saying "no" can spook some people. An explanation helps.:twocents:

thats what we do at my school man except theyre called burnroutes. pile ur buds into someones car, bounce outa school the second the bell rings and hit the backroads. just smoke bowls while your driving, make a big circle and then go back to school and chill listen to some tunes till lunch is over.
