I cant speak for everyone but I know 3 people that have asthma that smoke more than I do so.... 2 personally and one celeb so, I dont guess it'll hurt to have asthma and smoke. I dunno wtf caused that neck thing to happen though.

The neck thing was because i was coughing so damn hard i tore a whole and got air in my neck and it was all swollen and hurt like a bitch. Got morphine once but only could get tylenol when i was "in" the hospital. lucky i didnt tear my lungs or a tube would have been sent into my chest, ow.

From personal experience (I have asthma as well), I've noticed it doesn't really make it that worse. On the contrary, I always find (whether I eat it or smoke it) that I am able to breathe much better. I do know that THC dilates the large vessels in the lungs as well as the air sacs, which can result in easier breathing. The vaporizer is definitely the best idea for asthma patients aside from eating it; this way you aren't inhaling so many carcinogens into the lungs, as any kind of smoke can be detrimental to them. However, a study done this year showed that marijuana doesn't appear to carry a risk for lung cancer. Other studies show that it is less likely to cause emphysema (vs. tobacco) as well. Also, if my stoned memory serves me right, marijuana used to be used as an asthma treatment before it was illegal. Hope this helps.

Yah i have mild asthma and i never use an inhaler. Whenever i smoke, for a few days i can breather much better than normal. Thats one of the reasons i started smoking more lol.

I'm just the opposite. I found it definitely aggravated my asthma and irritated my lungs. That's what clinical studies have found, too--that weed smoking increases people's risk for airway irritation/inflammation, bronchitis and infections. THC and CBD are good for asthma, but weed smoke itself, which is fairly nasty, harsh stuff, is hard on most people's lungs.
