want to clone need advice

ok i want to clone a plant i have but im oh so confused. im nearing the end of my veg stage. my problem is i wont have alot of room to work with and i dont know the grow rate of most clones. i have one grow area and need to make one for clones. seems easy..... im beating around the bush haha get it sorry. im looking for input pretty much what do u guys do when u clone, do u have veg and flower areas and then a cloner.

Hey jackdawack,

I cloned for the first time 12 days ago and the roots just popped today.
I cut just below the 4th node at a 45 degree angle dipped it in clonex then put it in a rockwool cube then straight into the propogator which i misted 3 times a day. 2 are dead but eight out of ten lived.You can keep them in the veg room with 18/6 light.although i kept mine seperate under a fluorescent light 24/7 for 9 days then realised they only should have 18/6 light to stop then trying to grow instead of developing roots but they seem to have done great really considering it was my first ever attempt at cloning.
