hhhmmm, your problem could be one of many my friend, however i do not think its nute burn, organic nutes are much more forgiving than chemicals, you have to really lay it on to burn em, whats your ppm? what is the temps and humidity in the room? possibly some heat stress, high humidity stress, did you check your roots for damping off? although i do not know your condition, i would recomend silica blast to anyone doing such a confined grow, as yours, silica helps strengthen your plants cells making them much more thick and robust, it also cushions the effects of harsh enviroments such as high temps and high humidity, it also helps the plants fight off wilting, hope that helps and good luck

oh yeah, i forgot to ask do you foliar feed? and also can you elaborate on your setup a bit more, you said a drip system, but are your roots sitting in a resivior below? also i noticed your drip system drips the water overtop the hydroton, try to burry that thing 2 inches or so down, you want to keep the top of your medium bone dry so you dont run into any mold issues, just lettin ya know cause ive been there

nut burn?? confused
Easy. Don't lay your nuts on a HPS when it's turned on.

the water drains out of the tubs into a res. so the roots dont sit in a ny water, i have 4 other plants doing great but not this one, humididty is 50% temp is about 80 lights on and it drops to 70 and the ppm i couldnt tell yah, i know my water is hard because its been tested and its well water, im debating getting some distilled water and useing it but at 1.50 a gal and trips to the store i stopped doing it a while back but its the best way. or a rev. osmosis thinger but there cash. i think im locking out nutes and i, using diff strains some are doing good and some bad so im guessing its a lock out of Mg. and possibly N, almost all my plants are drying out at the bottom. i dont foliar feed, and if i do at night with bottled water

Your culprit is very likely a bad pH. It can wreak havoc with a gorw and make your plant show symptoms of burn AND lockout at the same time, not fun to deal with.

You need to test your runoff.

You also may have thrips, that pic is hard to see in that light, but I think I see spotting on the low leaves. Thrips breed in the soil and if you have damage it's often low on the plant. Put up yellow sticky papers and see what you catch, and sprinkle diatomaceous earth around the base of your plants.

Damping off is the simple name for pythium rot. It usually shows in the seedling stage, the seedlings' stems darken, get thinner, and eventually they just fall over and die.

I also recommend silica blast. Strengthens cells against heat and insect damage, and contains minerals that HELP BUFFER YOUR PH!!! YAY!

BTW I'm stupid and can't figure out if it's a soilless/hydro setup or automatically-irrigated soil.

ok the ph is good a round abouts of 5.5 i need to get a precise ph meter and ppm, the ph test kit i have works onl.y as good as u can read the colors. but here are some pics og the plant top view and side and also a pic of his neighbor.:stoned: ii mean there growing good but why not great ha:dance: um i really thinks its my ppm cuase some plants are great but one and i dont have pests or mold. the red stems i think is a nut. storing indicator, meaning possibly a deffic. of other nuts. or a lock out.... not sure tho, no heat stress and thats ussual.ly at the tops of the plant. any input is greatly appreciated. thanks guys.

Yeah, I agree it doesn't look like heat stress or root rot. You'd get more drooping.
And with those low levels, burning is unlikely.
You might try a weak solution a complete fertilizer with micronutrients as a foliar feed, it can be absorbed with less dependence upon the condition of the water.
Heave you checked in the runoff tray under that one plant to see if there is any water pooling that doesn't drain? Just a precaution.
Can you see any evidence of mineral deposits on the hydroton pebbles? It would look white, like dried salt.

If your using a ph test kit they do suck Ive been there if your ph is around 5.5 the color of the kit shows a color of orange try to raise your ph a little make it more neutral around 6.0 yellowish in color stay around there for a few days. If that doesnt help then maybe you can do something about your ppm but without a ppm meter I would change your res or icrease the flow to that plants emitters. Hope that helps and by the way get yourself a good ph and ppm meter.:rasta: :pimp:
