Forget your fry ups, forget your cornflakes. Im all about three crumpets smoothered in butter and a huge mug of coffee.That's me!:thumbsup:

Are crumpets like scratch biscuits ? That's biscuits,not cookies..lol. And scratch just means made by hand,from the basic ingredients. At least ya got the sense to drink coffee with em..lol.
What are 'fry ups' ? Is that what y'all call fried eggs ? Or is it fast-food or fried pies ?
Anyhow..I hope that ya enjoyed yer crumpets with butter and coffee to wash it down with !:thumbsup: :)

And the crumpets were delicious, ive enclosed a pic for ya!If ya see em in your local store, pick some up they make tasty snack anytime of the day and they're good with jam too!

Well I'll be ! I call them English muffins..in fact,we got some in the fridge,that's what it says on the package. I've always like em too-basically just toasted with butter on em,had some with breakfast the other mornin,(eggs over medium,ham,grits and a couple of them there 'crumpets'(English muffins to me..lol),washed down with strong black coffee..Yeeehhhaaawww ! :thumbsup: :dance: :D

I see..yeah,the grits are next to the waffles,in a bowl..it's basically coarsely ground corn and it's great with butter,salt and black pepper or with cheese mixed in,which is the way my gal prefers it,I'm more of a traditional feller when it comes to that,but I have had em with cheese before and it was great:)

Mmm, i likes the sounds of those grits! All this talk of food is making me hungry too, got me some baked potatoes topped with baked beans(mean beanz,mexican flavour) and grated cheese. Beats a BLT any day and its so cold and wet out i need something to hot to warm me up!

I looooove crumpets! They're a bit sweeter, softer and fluffier then the traditional American English Muffin. I treat the family every so often.
Stella is a strange drink, i think their putting chems in it to change us... Did you know there bring out a lower alcohol stella for kids... and no, im NOT joking.

I find that toasting twice in the toaster gets it a nice brown, I like them under done a bit so they have a crunchy rim but the inside is nice and squishy, the butter soaks into it but is enough not to be mushy. I only really ever have beans on them but you could probaly put all sorts. I don't like fry ups that much, depends on whos making. Personally, for lunch, it would be a toasted ham or cheese, with pickle and mayonaise and lettuce sandwich. The lettuce would be added after toasting, alot of people fucking hate pickle. Can't just be any pickle, has to be Branston.

Toasted Muffins are also good for brekfast.. Cant beat a chees in branston pickel roll, got to be a nice french bagget(Sp).. Mmmmm Food
