I have not, but would like to know what others taht have tried it have to say as well. I had the idea that it was a little cheaper than most, yet, was one of the better types to use. I could be wrong.

Have you ever used a vap of any kind yourself, if so, what, and what was your impression?

The only kind of vap I have used would have to be a homemade one out of a light bulb. I wasnt that impressed but I hear a light bulb is the worse vap to use.

I have a vap at home and if you're patient, its awesome. The only problem is, sometimes your lungs feel like you're getting no hit (which is the point - its a clean draw). Once you vap a bowl, though, you'll know you got some serious thc. If you're interested in checking it out, lemme know. [email protected]

avoid the bc vaporizer. aromazap and the vapor brothers are the most well-reviewed of the cheaper models that i've seen.

apparently nothing is comprable to the volcano, though.

if you are interested in vaporizers i recommend making a lightbul vape first, just so you can get a hang of the idea/concept and the difference in the high.

Yes, I can see your point, I think that one must have patients, though I have not done vap, I have an overactive imagination and see it. I havent even known of a light bulb kit method yet, util this thread, cool really.

Anyone in greater Dallas reading this thread do any any other vaps like to give some feedback?

Volcano's are excellent, but unreasonably expensive. Any of the better vaporizers are very nice: they save your stash, they're healthier, they produce a more cerebral effect, and they don't produce any odor when in use. The applications for which they might be employed are many.

I've just moved into town (Denton) and I don't have any vaporizers with me - a situation that I'll be remedying in the extremely near future. Honestly, I only smoke socially now. Once you get used to vaping, it's the only way to go, but a massive bong hit is nice once in a while when hangin with friends.

By the way, I've owned a lot of vaporizers (10? maybe more...) and tried quite a few others, so I can give you firsthand advice on many vaporizers or types of vaporizers. There are excellent vaporizers available starting at under $100 or so if you don't want to fork over your whole paycheck for a Volcano.

Let me know if you'd like my opinion on any vapes or style of vapes.

Honestly it really depends on what you what in your experience. When you vap I have found you get more a head buzz. Where when you burn you get more of a body high. I honestly love my vap and wouldn't replace it as my main way to medicate. Now one perk you will find to vaporizing is you get more from your money. I will vap then store up the duff since your not actually burning it. Then once I get enough I will make butter out of it. Very nice body high. So your actually getting 2 for the price of 1. Oh yeah and the smell is so much better. It really dissipates quickly.

Now as far as the vap the volcano has that shock factor. One of those things all your friends want and has talk about and smoke on every time. Now to be the bags are a pain. Yes its nice to make a bag for an hr later but honestly I missed out on the ritualness of smoking. So using a different type of vap worked for me. Also the volcano will be more efficient but you know once your lit your lit. You wont really notice. Honestly it a pain with having to hold the bag while it fills and having to replace it something like every 3 months. Oh and those bags aren't cheap and are only sold in Germany. So if you wanna save on them then you have to eBay them. Yeah and the price $500 - $600.

I opted for those wooden convection style vaps. I payed 180 for it and I have nothing to buy every unless it goes out. It is covered for 1 year by the manufacture. I just set it at my desk and surf and smoke away. I use a hands free model and just load it connect. It really is to me a less annoyance than that bag. Also being a stained box it allows me to hide it so much better. That silver volcano is an eye catcher.

Save the money and just talk one of your friends into buying one. Then get you a convection styled. You'll be happy.

I have a Volcano. I guess the high is alittle different than smoking from a bong. It feels cleaner and I think it lasts longer.

If you have some dank, I'd say vape away, though I use a bong quite a bit when I'm lucky enough to come across anything...which is usualy schwaggy dirt. I wouldn't give up my Volcano, but nothing like having a bong around for good times.

Lightbulbs suck. Feels like you're inhaling vaporized glass (and prolly are). I coughed for about 10 minutes the first and last time.

as mentioned before avoid the bc vapo at all costs , hell i'll give you mine so you know how big apiece of shit it is . no lie . :(

living on SSD i can't aford to fork out 500-600 bux for a volcano . i currently have a vaporwarez vapor cannon w/ ceramic heating element which carries a 5 yr. warranty . it will rock your brain !!!! :yippee: way way headie buzz like mentioned above . my only fault i see w/ them "vapos in general" is everything kinda tastes the same , killer , mids , crap , even roaches . needless to say i don't puff funk outa the vapo .

.i myself have never used a volcano , bags kinda seem like a p.i.t.a but if you got your heart set on a volcano and are a true med. m/j user w/ a script n proper credintials i know where you can get 1 for about 380.00 shipped via. a link on another site . email or i.m. me for info if address isn't in my profile please scan my burns / ampu thread in medicinal . i guess it's a no no to put links etc... on here now .

peace

Just bought a Silver Surfer Vaporizer. I have not tried any other vaps, but I highly recommend this one. It cost 200. It's 220 on the internet. Go to Fantasy Head Shop on Westheimer (near montrose). The guys there explain the advantages in a non-pushy kind of way.

I appreciate a more cerebral high so it is worth the money to me. Clean smoke is a plus. The only disadvantage is missing out on the ritual of smoking a pipe or a jay. I think I'll use the vap unless I am with friends.

We hit the volcano this past year at The Cannabis Cup. It was completely free and you could toke as many bags as you wanted. It was awesome! However, the price is somewhat discouraging. Congrats to y'all who have one. I'm jealous! Peace...
