Was planning on trying out making a mix like alot of people do here. Was going to give the Fox Farm Ocean Forest,Perlite, and Vermicilite mix a try. Went to local lowes today to see if that had any perlite, the only thing I could find was http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=156581-446-74278300
was wondering if this is no good because its Enriched with Miracle Gro® liquid plant food. Should I head to the local garden shop to look for some other kind of perlite?

Yes. Pre-enriched soil, unless it is enriched with organic shit (like shit), is a bad idea. You have less control over your babies' feeding schedule.

I usually use mix of 2 parts of FOX FARM Light Warrior® Agro-Ponic® Grow Medium and 3 parts of FOX FARM Ocean Forest® Potting Soil. no additional ingriedents, such as perlite or vermiculite, are required... I've been using it for one year now... works perfect for me.
try this out.

I have had Fox Farm Ocean Forest just burn the living hell out of quite a few seedlings ... for some strains, it is just TOO HOT for them ... start seedlings in a mild potting soil, no nutes, and water sparingly ... then, when grown out a bit, go with your Fox Farm soil, it is very good stuff ... just too rich for some seedlings (ALL of the ones I have been growing successfully for a long time, without it) ... :smokin:
