I have a plant who is ready to harvest. I planned on flushing a week prior to harvest but now I'm not sure. This plant is completely yellow (except the buds) They are healthy looking and fat. The little leaves sticking out of the buds are a yellow too. The stalk, stems, and leaves are completely yellow-mustard color and a bunch of dead brown leaves. I want to know if flushing will do any good at this stage because of the severe yellowing? The buds seem to still be growing (getting fatter). The trichomes are mostly cloudy with very few clear ones and an amber one here and there, so i'm guessing if I flush now, it will be ready to go by next week. But is it necessary when the plant is so yellow?

BY ALL MEANS, WATER THIS LAST TIME WITH CLEAN WATER.
GIVE HER ONE LAST DRINK, THEN KILL HER.
GOOD LUCK.

The yellow leaves should be a non factor at this point. I pulled a bunch of healthy green leaves to give more light to the buds. If your leaves are getting brown it may be showing a sign of season end. Sounds like you're reasy to harvest. If you're ready to harvest why bother wet the plant. It will dry faster if you don't water. Letting it dry out at the end helps the plant react in a good way in my opinion.

Ok, here's my :twocents:. Not that I know what I'm talking about, but I believe I have read somewhere that the plant will take nutrients from the leaves and other nonessential parts of the plant in the later stages of flowering. This usually will happen when you stop giving nutes/ferts in the last few weeks, but since you apparently have not stopped giving ferts, it might be a nute burn issue. Don't take my word on it, but at the least, you will want to flush it for the last week just in case it IS a nute OD. You definitely dont want to be smoking all of those chemicals when you harvest.
Maybe I'm right. Maybe I'm wrong. I haven't had a toke in a little so my mind might be a little foggy. ;)
