Using CFL lights during the flowering stage, is it best to use 2700k bulbs all out? say four cfl 2700k bulbs for one plant. or is it better to keep 6500k bulbs shining on a plant. or during flowering, use three 2700k bulbs and one 6500k bulb mix?

Use as many 2700s as you can. But if you use them all and still have some 6500s laying around, use them too! The more light, the better. Even if the spectrum isn't optimal for flowering, the 6500s will help some. But if your limit is four bulbs, and you have four 2700s, use those.

good advice!
cfl arent ideal, but can be use succesfully to flower off. In holland, there are comercial grow set ups that run only flourecent tubes and cfl's, the secret is the size of plants, small being the ansew to that! as cfl dont have hardly any canopy penetration!. So if you grow single colas in SOG you can optimise the results under CFL's,,,however you need a shit load of fittings, and the cost of which may exceed the cost of an HPS unit!. Although more fittings will be needed and the cost of the system would increase initially, the running costs of the CFL's would recuperate the difference on the first grow!
So to finnalize,,,, put every damn flourecent tube or CFL's light ya can get ya hands on, into that system! and come out smiling!
good luck,
welcome to the world of endless possibilities,,,,,hydroponics!
