I went to New York City with a friend in '98 to see Phish at all 4 New Years Eve shows at Madison Square Garden. Those were awesome, and we had a lot of fun, had a limo drive us around while we blew joints (driver was really cool), saw the World Trade Center, the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, all that stuff. The New Years Eve show itself was great, the 4:20 clock countdown was cool, the costumes were wicked, the music was awesome, and the crowd, man, they had Madison Square Garden shaking like an earthquake was hitting. I paid for the whole thing, for both me and my friend, cost was like 5-6 grand. It was a little extravagant, but memorable, and still the best vacation either of us have ever had. And a few years later, that same friend did me a favor that made me about 9 grand. I've always had good luck with karma. ;)

Tool in Toronto just a week or so ago. Very visual concert with screens, a reflective stage, lasers, lights and all that. Just awesome.

I have had no bad experince at any show ive been to, but since this summer my best show was definitley the Long Beach Blues Festival. I really loved watching WAR play all their jams, especially spill the wine. Cant wait till next year!

Best had to be Pink Floyd in 1995. I've been to at least 100 concerts and nothing else came close. Well, maybe the first Roger Waters show back in '85 or '86 when he was doing the Pro's and Con's tour but even his show was a long way off from Floyd.

Been to over 30 Grateful Dead shows. They were always good. Especially the Chinese New Year and Halloween shows. Nothing like 15,000 Deadheads tripping on acid or shrooms and dressed in full costumes :p

Santana at the Fillmore West was pretty good. We were like 5' from the stage, right in front of Carlos.

Worst- I can't think of any concert that really sucked. If I had to pick the worst it would probably be Stevie Nicks. Somone had given me free tics and I wasn't really into it.

July 16 1975 - Providence Civic Center Alice Cooper - Welcome to my Nightmare concert ... This was Alice at his peak.

I saw Queen in 1977 ... about the time that News of the World was released. I got fee tix from radio station contest . This was Queen at the top of it's game.

I find it hard to pick just one, but if I had to I'd choose Prince in Paris on the opening night of the Lovesexy tour in 1988.

Best of Show: my girlfriend had to drag me to a Grand Funk Railroad concert (I was convinced they were 'bubblegum'). they were absolutely fantastic, I never would have figured ... also, Ted Nugent (several times), B.B. King, Three Dog Night was almost boringly precise and tight, Alice Cooper on his first national tour rocked, Eagles at a Missouri rock concert, ... and some one-armed drunk guy in a sleazy bar across the street from "Tootsie's" in Nashville one really stoned night :D ... what a voice ... those are my favorite concert memories, I guess ... :smokin:

..those sleazly bars across from Tootsie's...( sorry I didn't see you)...only serve one-armed drunks..my kind of place...the best concert? Woodstock 1969. Wasn't exactly there..had to see what Hurricane Camille(sp?) would do first.

I have seen so many concerts this year that I don't remember. Every year, I win tickets to all sorts of events in town off of the local radio stations and most are to concerts. Only thing is, I don't remember most of them.

I saw Chevelle several times over the years- they are always great. NIN was great as was 311 everytime I saw them.
