In the first picture you can see those little ball looking things, and they're on most of the other places where the flowers are starting to develop...are these pre-mature female flowers? I'm probably just tripping, but 12/12 started on 9/18. Didn't see progressive growth during those two weeks, but am now starting to see flowers forming rather well I would say...Opinions?

wow...now I've noticed more of them...they are male flowers, correct? That's like a half man/half woman plant..gay.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but I just see male flowers. If there are female flowers too you should name it Hermie. ;) Closer up pix would help.

I removed all visible male flowers with tweezers, which is what these were...I'd say that about 1/3 of the total flowers were male...why so many? after they're removed does nothing grow from where they were removed from? This is a sack seed by the way.

picking off the male flowers wont make it female, if its a male its a male!.....and not much use.
i dunno if your growing the male for a reason (hash or seeds) but if not jus scrap it an start again!:(

if you have any females around then kill the male, KILL IT NOW!
accidental pollonation is not much fun at all!

the plant looks pretty healthy, so jus keep doing what your doing "with a female" an youll be smokin homegrown in no time!:stoned:

It's a hermi, mate. And once male flowers are picked off they do not grow back, right?

You still might get MORE of them.

So, if these flowers keep appearing, how long do I have to remove them before they release any pollen? They keep sprouting like crazy, and this is a rather skimpy plant, it was light deprived during veg a bit but a lot of the lowest oldest branches are flowering as male, would it be okay if I removed these branches seeing as they're only producing a male flower?

It won't die man, just keep picking the male flowers and everything will be ok.

Isn't that how you get feminized seeds? A female plant that turns hermaphroditic and pollinates itself. Good seeds are a pain in the ass to get. If this particular plant produces well and has a good high, having a bunch of it's seeds is good barter stock if nothing else. Just keep it away from the rest of your crop or you might have to open a seed store.;)

This is the only plant I'm growing right now..my first grow. I did have another female...one with about twice as much total foliage that this one has, but while adjusting the lights they fell on my plants and snapped the biggest one in half. But feminised seeds by hermaphrodite pollenation really? I had no idea about that. Too bad I already removed most of the male flowers..but if there still are any and they do pollenate just a bit I don't really care because sitting in my closet with tweezers picking those damn flowers off for about an hour or so is hell of the knees and back lol.
