not like that. its trichomes gathered and pressed. Hash is alo more potent that straight weed (trichomes r the so called crystals that contain the THC)

Ground up weed/stems/trimmings from harvests are shaken ontop of a fine screen untill all the crystals collect below the screen as a pile of what looks like powder. This is then pressed into blocks. (well thats one method of making it)

No, there are no pistilles in hash, otherwise it wouldnt be pure.

Its the trichomes of THC either compressed, or heated up and then compressed.

Either way, you end up with a block of pure resin [THC]

If its good it should be way stronger than bud, but in UK most of it is shit so alot of UK smokers stick to our amazing skunk.

I think most hash around the world is pretty shitty, actually. The only time I've ever had really amazingly good hash was some Turkish Blonde I got in Turkey (which was a helluva risk, with their laws against it and their horrifying prisons). All the other times I've tried hash...it was crap.

in many oriental countries, hashish was used more often than bud (usually the only "psychoactive" form of cannabis, rest of the plant was used for medicinal and trophic reasons). In fact, they used cannabis to produce hash from them, like charas in nepal which is used for ages and its a part of the monks culture...

That's because anywhere else other than those third world countries, the hash isn't 100% pure kif. They usually like to mix in some male pollen that blends in well with actual kif.

But yeah, it's been answered, hash is pressed kif, and kif are those little sugar like crystals you see on the buds. It's one of the most pureset ways to smoke cannabis.

I make my own hash all the time and it is 100% pure. Comes out a nice golden color because i press using only pressure, little heat, and when you take one good bong rip or G-bong hit, it's like a hit of high quality smoke times 10. I'm not kidding. 2 bong rips and I'm fucked.

There is good hash out there, but when it comes to sales, they will do all sorts of things to maek that extra buck. Like fuckin soapbar? I've never had it but from what I hear it's rubber, glues, pipe resin, and, oh yeah, a little bit of kif. :rolleyes: Nasty!

I do the same as you. If you want to get good hash every time make your own. It's so strong a small bit will get you fucked.

I had heard that in places like Afghanistan they would have people basically rub the budding plants and then collect the resin that built up on their hands. This would make the softer, darker colored hash instead of the harder, blonde hash made from kief collected from dried plants. But yeah, good hash is hard to beat.
