Wondering if and what people use to cover up the smell of weed in the car. Is there a spray or something that isn't too strong but works to take care of incriminating smells?

I've allways loved febreeeze anit-microbial. I don't know why. Anything will work. Just leave your windows down and go for a long drive. that should do it.

You have to think about the smoke and the evidence too. I don't smokes cigs but i always spark one up if I get pulled over and have been burning in the car. Plus they won't ask you questions about seeing lighters smoke and stupid shit like that. Cigarette smell is nasty and covers anything quickly.

Rolling down the windows doesn't always work. Me and my friend smoked a bowl with the windows down (while driving) and we came back to my house with my mom home sleeping. She comes in like 20 minutes later and says that we're "Fucking stupid if we didn't think she could smell it when she walked in." She was pissed.
But, anyway...I would say, cologne, even perfume if you have a girl (sounds weird but you can always just use the excuse I went to go see her and now I smell like her, that's what I've done) anyway, then...like they've said Febreeze or even Air Freshner or Oust.
Oust is good, too.
If you smoke, ciggs are also another route.

Ozium. This stuff is awesomeness. It does initially have a chemically smell when it's first sprayed, but like 3 or 4 minutes later it's gone and so is any other odor you don't want. I actually don't use it too much to cover up the smell of my smoke as I don't need to hide it, but I do use it for other odors like bathroom stenchs and like if someone cooks fish or burns toast or rice. The smell is completely gone and doesn't come back once you've sprayed the ozium. It's a little pricey. I got my can off of ebay. I think it was 15.89 including shipping, but I got the biggest size they had. Smaller cans are less. The can I have is about the size of a large hairspray can (14.5 oz/411g). I got the can in May and I use it about 4 or 5 times a week and I doubt I've used even 1/5th of the can.

Yeah, ganjafeak, ozuim will work awesome to cover the smell of that crop you're planning to rip off.
I used to have to take long road trips...so me and my boyfriend would light an incense stick after we smoked. It's pretty potent but REALLY works good especially in a small place like a car...you won't smell anything but the incense for a long time!!

will these work well with hotboxed blunts?
Ozium is awesome I like the green can but I can only find the blue ones around here lately. I just picked up a small can a few days ago. It's only 0.8 oz which perfect for the car just don't let anyone ever mistake it as binaca! It's true that it does kill smell.

Well, I haven't really tried this opium yet, but what I use so far is Orange Chronic and it really is very good. It has a strong orange smell and it covers the smell up nicely.
Does anybody know where to get the Opium spray though? Other than online stores?

Build one of those DIY carbon filters.
I use mine as a Doob Tube for my bedroom (works like fucking magic with some fresh step cat litter in it), just put it in the trunk with the intake coming out the back seat.
I should mention, I use a 4" inductor fan to get airflow into the thing, it's hooked up to a lightswitch and 120v ac.
But I'm sure you can figure out how to hook up something to 12v dc current.

Someone said Ozium, well I use this and it's pretty much the same.
I smoke in the car mostly, and lots of blunts can lead to strong lingering smells, the windows take care of 98% of it, but with pot, that 2% left means a LOT, so I bring this stuff with me always

They have all sorts of wicked scents, very strong, but I like cherry vanilla the best.
And if you can't find it in your local headshop or you can't order it, just always carry a vanillaroma tree freshener, bust it open after a smoke session, usually will mask the smell in seconds.
Good luck

I used Lysol Wipes once and they worked alright. I just wiped them all over the car, ceiling, chairs, and all.
I agree opening the windows and driving for a while doesn't always work. Well atleast I've tried driving for a good 5 minutes with the windows open and the smell was still there.

I just want to add another glowing review for Ozium. That stuff is amazing and belongs in every MJ users car or home. The best thing about it is that you one quick burst is all you need (for a car), if you spray like you would for example with Febreeze or Lysol you will suffocate yourself in Ozium goodness :P

First and formost, smoking weed in a car is just about the most stupid and ignorant thing anybody can do.
Not "if" but *WHEN* you get caught and its gonna cost you a hell of a lot more than a can of air freshener.
I suppose you get drunk an drive too??
And before you start to give me a hard time about my reply, you better think long and hard about the ramifications of getting a DUI.
The "I drive better stoned" crap won't fly either. If that was true, all of the racers would be driving stoned instead of being banned from the sport if they get caught.
What you do in the privacy of your *OWN* home is your business, but what you do in public is subject to scruteny.

Actually, he *IS* saying, and he needs to get rid of the smell because its there, which means that he's been smoking weed in his car. This also means that he has puit himself in a position where somebody has to *DO* something about it.
Cars, schools, and churches do not mix with weed at all.....unless you have nothing better to do with your life than occupy space and time behind bars.

what i do is i let my car smell like weed. I dont care if it does, smell does not mean search if you get pulled over, unless they have the drug sniffing dog. And even then they have to find something. What i do though to get rid of the smell after smoking in my car is that i get the incense that the local headshop sells, usually between 10-20, and keep them in the plastic bag in my car. They arent nag champa ones, they are like actual incense with the "different aromas" and after a day to two the smell starts to become really strong in my car, plus when i am finished my car continues to smell like incense, and i can burn the incense in my house to keep it fresh.

Burning incense in your car.... now theres a red flag that NO cop is gonna ignore. That will guarentee a search and they will bring in the dogs.
Like I said before... weed and cars don't mix... But if you got more time and money than brains, go ahead and toke in your car all you want, and whine about it when (not if) you get caught.
I have absolutly no sympathy for anybody that gets caught smoking weed in a vehicle. You take your chances, and pay the price.

i have to agree with Steve some here, i used to smoke in my car a lot. I should have been busted 3 different times, i got lucky, real lucky. Since then, my recent DUI has landed me license less and the older i get the more i realize how risky it is.
I can see if you got a real good hiding place or if your an A+ driver but still you never know how much of a dick cop can pull you over and do whatever he wants, don't take my word for it just talking from experience.
If you wanna get high and drive just smoke at home and then go, i couldn't imagine how mad a cop would be pulling you over and your clothes set him off, or you red droopy eyes or your dry mouth which would be a combination of the weed and the pure fact your nervous as hell. Then let him search your shit, he won't find anything. Then tell him thanks for wasting your time and be on your way. I'm rambling. Peace

i didnt mean light incense in your car, i said to leave the incense bundle in your car for a few days, preferable somewhere near the front where the ventilation creates some current and it will disperse the smell. If you do want to burn an incense stick or oil in your car, make sure that your not driving it while its burning, and the smoke has time to clear before you do drive again.

I totally agree. Smoking in your car is asking for trouble. You don't even have to do anything else wrong and still get busted. Someone could crash into you, totally their fault, and YOU would be the one to go downtown.

Agree with the following:
Tobacco smoke (good if you're in a hurry - gross but covers most other smells)
Febreeze (sometimes takes several sprays, best to spray and leave overnight to really get rid of it) - but it attracts bees.
Oust (especially the "Outdoor" scent)
Ozium (but don't spray it while you're in the car, that shit is noxious)
Oh yeah, and this is kinda unrelated, but for all you tobacco smokers out there, I just got these Rain-X anti-fog wipes (you can get 'em at Target). They are the shit for getting smoke residue off your windows!
All of this is based on the fact that I smoke cigs in my car or on the fact that I need to cover smells on my clothing. I never, ever smoke weed in my car. I agree that it is fool to do so. And also kinda dangerous.
