alright, here it goes, I have a serious problem with the way I think to try to live in this type of life. I would like to say that I'm am left handed/ambidextris to help whomever is trying to help me out. I'm not sure what it is but I can only hold onto a thought for so long until my brain chains off to another. I have zero motivation physically to do anything. I have still yet to graduate high-school and I'm 19 now and have no job, no liscense, no girl. I have alot of friends, always seem happy around them, im trying to live a normal life. I loose interest in things too fast unless I'm very interested in it which is rare. I rarley make big changes in my life, I think way into things where I cannot finish what I was going to start with. All this is starting to lead to some serious depression, so far weed is the only thing im holding onto. I wake up everymorning with one goal, find a bag and chill. I use to have a good job and was a hard worker, if I was in the right mind set. I really want to make it in life but there seems to be a road block in my brain and I just don't get it. It might be because I think of the answer first than the details, backwards thinking. I really don't know, I feel like I can do anything in this world and know I can, somethings holding me back. Sorry about not breaking this up into paragraphs, but I wanted to get this out fast before I changed my mind;) . I really would like to have some people who can relate or had experience like I have and let me know what they've tried. I have asked to go to the doctor a few times but my parents just kind of ignore it. I'm not trying to fail in life, so please to whomever took their time to read this offer some serious advice. Thanks to all

you had the motivation to ask, and to write all that.
the best psychologist is yourself..
I find the fastest way to 'jump the wall' / have a new (slight modifacation of the old) attitude/outlook is to change the way I look... different clothes, different facial hair, hair style/hat.. what ever
works for me

You don't need meds. You need a lifestle change. Get your diploma. However you have to do it, you have to do it. If you can't make yourself do this, then you're gonna be in this rut the rest of your life. Shit, join the service, or go overseas somewhere and lend a hand doing anything you can to help. Live in africa feeding hungry kids for a year and you'll get your priorities strait.

I agree with you, ever since I stopped working at my job cause I lost interest I've been depressed and wouldnt do anything to change my life. It looks like i might go back to the same job coming up here soon, working with my dad at a family owned business. I'll get back into that and see where my mind is than...

try smoking less, or if you can none for a while. it sounds really hard because thats the highlight of your day right now but you need to take a break. not forever, just until you get your shit together. do you work out and eat right? feeling good about your body and health has a big impact on the rest of your life. try and keep asking to see a doctor though. even if you dont want meds, therapy really helps. i'm talking from expirence and as a psych major

thanks for the reply, I really don't smoke much. For instance today I barely smoked any at all, about a one hitters worth. When I do have weed its about a half gram a day or so, can make a dime last 5 days so I'm not that bad into how much I smoke. Smoking none for awhile may be the trick, my only problem is trying to sleep, I suffer from what I believe insomnia. I don't eat right, just random junk every now and than, but I try to stick to the recommend 8-10 cups of water a day. Funny thing though is recently I was thinking of trying to just eat fruit/vegatable for a week and see the difference in my thought process and how I feel. I will still push the doctor subject with my parents, thanks for your time.

you need a lifestyle change. do something... u need a kick up ur ass so to speak man, i mean t hat in a nice way.
u need something to wake up to.
u think life aint worth living? do u not want to be there when your child takes his first breathe? when he takes his first step? says his first word? or when you get that promotion? or lookinto your girlfriends eyes and say "marry me?"
life has so much to offer ur just takin lil nibbles out of a HUGE fucking pie! go out there DO SOMETHING! LIVE!
Take up excercise, get a hobby, try life without weed.
BE YOU!
All the best

I would recommend a diet free of Gluten (in wheat, barley, rye and oats), and if possible, Casein (milk products). These foods cause all kinds of problems for many people. Don't expect much help from doctors - most are not aware, or current, regarding these food problems. You just have to go with what makes you feel better.

I have the same problem. Find something you like and then start doing something with it. Your motovation in that field may spill over into other areas in your life. That's what it's like with me. I get home from school and dont feel like doing shit so I sit at my piano and suddenly I get really super focused and then afterwords I get up and do my homework.
