what kind of light fixtures does one growing with cfls use?? anyone care to give some input i plan on 2 sockets that plug in to an outlet instead having to wire a whole new socket but i want to have a y splitter off each so each socket witll have 2 bulbs please help also if u can tell me where to get it that would be alot of help too

just go to wally world and grab sum shop clamps .. use the y splitters and then u got 4 bulbs on em.. thats what i did.. but i had to take off the reflector to accomodate the two bulbs.. i got mine at walmart for 5 dollars a lamp...

:stoned: home depot has them as well. i got mine there spliters 2.00 each and the sockets were like 2.50. 5.00 for a set up .

I used the small fixtures from Home Depot for about 2 bucks a peace and wired six together with out any splitters, just cut an old extention coarde and have had no problems.

oh you can just run those sockets to an extension cord?? and are the shop lights that clamp on and have a metal cover able to hold a splitter with 2 23 watt cfls = to 100watt incandescnet?? man im high as shit hahah just got back from arcata got me a new bong too!!!

The ones with a fixture already have pluggends, but if you wanted to splice them you could and wire them together without a splitter.
