Tutorial- How to wire a 150watt hps

ok ive been asked a few times how to rewire a 150watt ballast so im going to show everyone here DO NOT REPLY until i say i am done im uploading pics in diffrent posts so no one is confused :thumbsup:

parts needed

150watt ballast

150watt ignitor

medium based socket

3 prong electrical cord

ok what we do first is wire up the red to red and blue to blue

now we wire the center contact(usually white ,black on mine) of the lamp shell to the white wire on the ignitor

now we wire the black from the ballast to the black on the power plug

and last add the white wire from the plug to the white wires from the socket and tape or use wire caps to seal them, the grey wire from the power cord is ground attach this wire(not shown) to a metal case you'll use to house the ballast.

plus her in and watch the glow :dance:

That's great information ..... my problem is I don't know which wires are for what .... they are not colored like the picture shown.

I did a step by step that was placed in the growgaqs, and is much more detailed if you cannot understand this tutorial completely.
