my cousin lives in lake havasu city arizona and he wants to start growing:rasta: but he lives with my aunt and she doesnt want him growing inside the house. what i'd like to know is, would a plant survive out in the sun and it being really dry there and all?

would expect you could grow outdoors there but it would have to be taken good care of like decent soil and regular watering.

so he couldnt just plant the seeds and let them grow? its arizona so its gotta be mostly dry and sand
they will need daily waterings, especially during the hot months of july and august. even 2-3 times/day might be necessary. but they grow great under that hot sun as long as the water is taken care of and the pack rats and conejo's don't get em! had 10-14 footers of humboldt skunk when growing in my backyard in tucson and with a no-frost zone like tucson is, they can grow until fully ripe, which with those skunk seeds would often go well into december! same deal for las vegas...they love the heat and sun but must have plenty of water on a regular basis. flooding once/week won't do...

could he go out at night and water them? he lives in a suburban/neighborhood thing and is planning on the grow being in a storm drain thing (wash out?) i was gonna send him a letter detailing how to water them at all parts of the day by digging a trench to the site putting a hose long enough into it and burying it. would that be acceptable?
