hey peeps,
i just made a new veg cupboard and a home made reflector to go in it. Im kinda happy with my results as it seems to be going ok. Just about be able to keep the temp at about 80 whilst light is on (as long as it doesnt get too warm outside). Am currently vegging 8 ices plants and 7 white rhinos which are two weeks since i placed them in the rockwoll today. They took about 3 days to get going so they are now 11 days old and growing well.
The cupboard is 45cmx75cmx100cm (ish) and i have 325 watts of blue spectrum envirolites in there and they are doing a good job. 4 inch intake fan and 4 inch outtake fan and a small fan for extra air movement that i will use when plants get bigger....
feeding them nothing but a touch of superthrive in their water and all looks good...
only problem is it isnt subtle: wires coming from a glowing cupboard that makes as much noise as a fridge but i dont care too much about that as no one goes in the room where it is.
going to veg these girls (well 8 of them hopefully) till they are about 25cm tall and have 7/8 nodes then they go under the 400W hps probably with a 200W red envirolite as well for bud onslaught!! well thats the plan....
cheers.
