Well considering i have seen pictures and scars from the incedents..and HEARD her threaten to shoot husband...and listend to varius stories told buy my aunts ( her kids ) about her beating them.. i can say 1 thing..Back then..it wasnt illigal to hit your children

Back in the 60's when my mom was growing up, she got beat daily with wooden spoons and leather belts, for no reason, so this kind of abuse doesn't surprise in the least.
